Oh man I had an amazing week! So many wonderful experiences!

I had the privilege to go see Tony Robbins speak for 4.5 hours on Wednesday. I have read his books and listened to you tube videos and heard some of his podcasts (which are basically him speaking to someone that was recorded, but just when it gets into the good stuff, cuts to the end! GOD I HATE THAT) and appreciate his style of thought.

It was something else entirely to see him in person! I was a million miles away from the stage, but I could see that man standing on stage and there were screens all around. It is amazing to me some of the exercises that he had the room perform and the way people responded in unison was astounding. There was 15,000 people in the room and for most of the responses on how people changed when displaying different emotions was in unison!

I have read the books and the techniques for changing your state are in almost all of the ones I read. I have tried the exercises at home with myself and it never really resonated with me. However doing it with another person in a room full of life, it is really transforming!

It boils down to this. Everything in life revolves around energy. Humans are energy beacons. We resonate with the people we are near. If you surround yourself with negativity, your body will suck that energy up and you will become…negative. Same goes for the other side of the spectrum. Everything is about energy! Life is about the give and take of energy exchange. If you are feeling sad, or mad, or hurt, or frustrated, all you have to do is get up and run around and jump around like a crazy person! Force yourself to laugh! Even if the laugh is fake at first, just the action of making yourself laugh will change your biochemistry!

This action alone was life altering! I decided to try this personally after I left. I have been in a funk, as I am sure you can tell from my posts recently, and I needed to shift my state. I wanted to experiment with this and see if it really makes a difference.

It started with Heading home from the conference. I was exhausted having only gotten a 2 hour nap after a full day of excitement. I jumped out of bed and pumped myself up to get to the airport on time. I ran around like a crazy person and worked really hard at not being annoyed with the lady behind the counter at the hotel who was REALLY slow, or waiting in the line at the airport to get through security or when they pulled my bag because I had a canister of protein powder in it. I remained positive. I kept my high energy state.

It’s funny how people react to you when you are in different states. In the security line, I kept a smile on my face even though I felt frantic. This caused a few conversations to strike up with the people surrounding me in line. I got through security and was able to joke with the TSA agent about how stuffed my suitcase was! I traveled light on the way there, but had a bunch of Isagenix product I purchased in there on the way back and I was overloaded!

I made it to the plane with 5 minutes to spare after stopping at the convenience store to pick up some essentials. I made it in record time. Just Five Minutes Later I would have missed my plane! I got to my layover destination and had some time to linger.

I go to breakfast, still keeping a high energy, smiley state and am greeted with more enthusiasm from the bartender then the lady next to me who had an annoyed look on her face. I chatted with the people around me and was able to make the annoyed lady smile with my smiles and conversation.

There have been many instances like that since I decided to change my state. Going to that conference has forever changed my life. I can’t wait to go to Fiji for the 6 day event. That is a goal now. Have to build the nut that it will take to get me there, but I am going damnit! Thank you so much Isagenix for bringing such an amazing, much needed piece to my life that I lost a couple of years ago. I am back!
