I have to say, this year has been a whirlwind. Like the scariest roller coaster ride ever imagined. There have been many highs and many lows and everything in between.
I got married this year. What an amazing milestone for me and my now husband. Our relationship has always been the shining star in my life for the past 7 years. We have grown together, suffered together, cried, laughed a lot, traveled, shared EVERYTHING together and have been completely in love. It would make sense that we joined together in marriage. I got to marry my best friend. He continues to support me and love me every day, even when he is upset.
Of course we have our little peeves about each other, but they are so minor that when they happen, it is a moment of Grrrrr then everything is back to beautiful.
Our wedding was small and amazing on the most beautiful beach in the country. Our close friends and immediate family made the trip. I think the only thing I could have wished for that day was the wind to lay low and allow us to be on the beach undisturbed. Beyond that, it was perfect just like us.

We also:

This is just the paraphrased version of my year. The cliff note version.
There were many ups, a few downs and many in betweens,

I set out this year with many goals to accomplish. While I didn’t reach the goals I set up in the beginning of the year, I learned and grew and reprioritized what I wanted out of life. I hit so many other targets that weren’t a part of my new years aims.

I like setting goals and having things to work for. It ends up showing me what I really appreciate and prioritize. Crazy how that works.

This year, I am going to set initiatives instead of goals. I am going to treat my initiatives like business projects and work toward success in those endeavors instead of setting GOALS. I think that would really push me farther and allow flexibility with accomplishments.
Don’t get me wrong, New years resolutions, goal setting etc is absolutely a positive thing in everyone’s life, but I am choosing to do them differently.

in 2025 I plan to Blog More, Start a podcast, Build out my new brands, Travel, Camp, Hike, Bike, Cook, Swim, go to concerts, spend time with friends, build out my teams, love on my man, love my family, love on my puppy, practice happiness and joyfulness, build up my investments, spend time at the river, spend time at the beach, prioritize wellness and fitness, drink lots of coffee, grow my network, go on a boat, read more, volunteer more, teach, learn, read, plant things, buy a house for my family, pay off my student loans, pay off my truck, make new friends and decide that all these things lead to a feeling of fulfillment, peace and joy.

What are your aspirations for 2025?
