Growth

Over the course of my professional life as an entrepreneur, I have had “focus” shoved down my throat. You need to focus on one thing to be effective. Not try to accomplish 5 things at once because you will be mediocre at all of them. I have always done multiple things and strive to do more but maybe that is my personality. I need to have multiple streams of things in my life to try to achieve the one thing that I have wanted so desperately….to achieve my dreams.

I have spent the better part of the last 6 months learning the lesson that focus is the key to success. Go figure.

I do have a couple of businesses growing right now and they are being incubated to hatch into something great, which is amazing and exciting. I have had to step away from all other things that are not tied into the specific goal I am trying to attain (an autonomous business where I only have to jump in 3 hours per day to run). It is definitely an audacious goal but it is also completely attainable.

I have grown so much in the last year through execution, self development education, and connection with peers who are in the same mindset as I am: growing something big and amazing.

Over the last year:

  • I formed a team that consistently works together to achieve business goals
  • Learned how to hire and fire
  • Set an intension to make new friends both for adulting and family time and with focused time and energy have build (and am continuing to build) a tribe of people whom I love to be around
  • Created a partnership with a Friend and found my counterpart who brings the things to the table I lack for business success
  • Read MANY books
  • Carved out my morning routine with self development time, journaling time and a workout (I still have mornings where I choose to sleep in instead of workout 🤣)
  • Am refining my ever changing lifestyle design and figuring out what is really important to me
  • Started hosting an accountability group and am working with my local real estate investing club to share and educate investors on investing out of state
  • I eat healthier food, and make it a point to cook more vs going out more
  • Started a Corporation (not another LLC, eek! I am growing up)
  • Decided to pause on a few passion projects for the time being to focus on my money makers
  • Got engaged to the love of my life and continue to keep our close bond we share alive and well

The point of my sharing this is to let you know that I appreciate the following and I hope you have found some wins in my absence. Now that my incubating is proving itself, I have opportunity to share life and love with you all. See you soon!
