New Year’s Day

Today was day one of 2019. 2018 was a tough one among a few other tough ones. It was a roller coaster. Super high highs and very low lows. Emotional growth is at an all time high.

This coming weekend will be spent reflecting on what worked and what didn’t but today we focused on today and our tomorrow.

Spent the morning at a house evaluating repair cost and also conversing with a group on options to make the place amazing. Teamwork and vision on the horizon. Hope and great intuition feels we’re also had.

Then a hike on a chilly day in this beautiful place. Walking and talking about our thoughts and prayers for the future. Laughing at the cuteness of our crazy boxer and the joy felt being in nature moving our bodies.

Tonight, we are going to check out the meaning of 50% off sushi at a little place up the road because we want to ensure we are being sensible while indulgent. Plus it’s right up the road so we HAVE To try it.

There is always hope and dreams of making the upcoming year the best ever. Sometimes it goes completely the wrong way and life sucks for a minute, but things turn around if you chose to believe they will. If you believe, your mind is opened to the potential.

You can be flat broke and have the worst day ever, but there is always the choice to be happy. There is always the choice to see what comes next in a positive light. When I was at my second or third or tenth rock bottom point I finally figured it couldn’t get much worse off then it was. Look at the last worst thing you went through. You are still here. What is the worst thing that could happen? It still gives you another chance to choose again.

Choose happiness. Choose love. Choose to see what is good in the situation.

Happy new year! 2019!!
