New Year and new blocks – you aren’t alone!

Good day! Happy 1st monday of 2017! There is something to be said about the first monday of the new year! Of course everyone is ready to take on their resolutions and attack their goals today and everyday.

I am looking at the tasks I have set ahead for myself, and like magic, I have a block in my mind. Call it writer’s block, mental blocking, or the “too many things to do and not sure where to start” block!  I decided to blog about it since I am sure that at least some of you may be feeling the same way.

As I was creating my January goal list last week, I was pumped! I have already started to work on some of the items on my list. I worked on items that was in regards to planning items for the month. I was on FIRE!

Fast forward to Jan 2nd 2017 and…Stumped. I sit in front of the computer thinking of the things I need to do and in what order and I am all over the board…Ugh.

One foot in front of the other and I am sitting here writing this post. I also stepped away from the computer and moved around a little. That helped.

I have done the items that needed doing and did 1 thing that was part of one of my goals so I am not going to feel bad about not going gang busters today. Little steps lead to big steps, right?

Don’t feel bad if you are blocked as well, as long as you do little things to keep you on track, you are good 🙂 We are in this together!
