A device that is really useful to track every little movement your body makes and makes people crazy about doing things that you do everyday anyway and is the excuse for not eating properly or regularly exercising because you think the steps you take count even though you do them everyday anyway device – My Definition

It is amazing how trends happen. I watched this trend transpire back when they started doing those little belt clip step counters. It has developed into this crazy obsessed little cult-like community of people! It is great to know how many steps you are taking, it is great to know how you are sleeping, it is great to know every single movement you do daily. I just think that too many people are using as an excuse to get out of other exercising. “Well I took 30,000 steps today so I don’t need to go to the gym” “I can eat this whole pizza because I increased my steps by 3,000 today”

I decided for this Friday post, I would put together a list of other ways to burn calories!

  1. Singing in the shower can burn an extra 10-20 Calories per song, depending on the volume and pitch of your voice.
  2. Laughing for 10 minutes can make you burn 50 Calories.
  3. You burn about 200 Calories during 30 minutes of active sex.
  4. Banging your head against a wall uses 150 Calories an hour.
  5. On average, brushing your teeth for three minutes will burn 10 Calories.
