Did you know that Bananas Have high levels of Tryptophan in them? What this means to you is if you are looking for a mood boost or something to help with sleepy time, a banana should be your go-to food!
Bananas offer serious mood-lifting power, with their combination of vitamins B6, A, and C, fiber, tryptophan, potassium, phosphorous, iron, protein, and healthy carbohydrates.
Tryptophan helps the body produce serotonin (the happy neurotransmitter) and also Melatonin (the sleepy enzyme)
Bananas are also great when “that time of the month” is right around the corner it helps reduce swelling, bloating and irritability.
Apparently you can use banana peels as natural wart removers. If you tape them to the wart, it will disappear
They help with weight loss by stabilizing blood sugar so you don’t get those ravenous hunger moments.
9/10 of the worlds bananas are consumed by poor countries where 400 million people use them for 20% of their caloric intake for the day
